Are you kidding me? I reserved a van and committed to pick up college students only to find out when I got there they only accept major cc or in state dl. You could not have told me before I drove 4 hours? You couldn't tell me days before over the phone when I reserved? I would have been able to meet the requirements had I known about them but as it was I only had my debit card with more than sufficient balance and my out of state dl. Shame on you for making me let down the girls counting on me. I won't ever use Enterprise again, that is a fact.
If you really want to use Enterprise, go to the one on Old Forest Road. I made reservations for the Madison Heights office, called the day before to confirm and everything was supposedly set up. I asked if my wife should pick up earlier than noon and the "gentlemen" said no, they needed time to clean the car. Well, the next day she went to pick up at 1:00 pm and was told that they didn't have the car, that they sent it to Old Forest Road. He also stated that it's crazy there on Fridays, it was a Wednesday. She went to Old Forest Rd office and they didn't have a clue what the "gentlemen" was talking about. Long story short, they took care of us. I do not recommend the Madison Heights location, I'd rather drive across town.
Claire was a joy to deal with. The location alone makes it worth going into Madison Heights rather than deal with the insane traffic of Old Forest or Wards Road locations. And no airport tax! I've always found the service for car rental places to be adequate but often on the cold side. Claire was the first car rental rep who proved to be otherwise. I highly recommend.
We have always had excellent service provided by Enterprise. We recommend them to all who need to rent a vehicle.
I had a great experience with this Enterprise. I reserved a mid sized car, which they didn't have, so I got a free upgrade to a Kia SUV, which was awesome. He waived the $.40 per mile charge and the vehicle had a full tank, but was marked down on my paper that I could return it on empty.
