Good spot for hard to find items, like duck eggs or spices. Their spice selection is amazing. Though they are pretty pricey. I saw two sticks of butter going for $7.99. If you can't find it in a regular store it's worth a check. Their spice prices are reasonable.
Fine supply of bulk products, I go for the flours (I used King Arthur). Their deli and produce, while limited, is quality. Love this little gem in Madison Heights.
This is always a fun place to shop! Evangeline and her staff are wsrm, friendly people and always eager to offer advice or suggestions when asked. Their products are fresh, fairly priced, and delicious! Try their deli meats--they are the best around. They have a little bit of everything, so is worth stopping in to see what they've got that you need. This is a perfect example of how business should be done.
You can get any kind of flour, dried fruit, hard candy you might want. It's like the Pennsylvania Dutch stores that I remember when I lived in PA. Also good prices on garden plants.
