This is my favorite La Carreta. The chips and salsa at this one are the best. Otherwise it's pretty much like the other ones in the area. Good for Yankee Mex (no one in Lynchburg serves good Tex Mex so I can't be too hard on them ha ha)
Charming round restaurant with great food service and desserts. Only thing I didn't enjoy was that there was too much cheese on the seafood rice bowl.
We really like the food here.The plates are so hot when you get them. Have wait to eat.aThey cound turn that down a bit.lol.But its good.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. But I have to say on behalf of my husband and myself....the food is the best of any Mexican restaurant we have ever been to. We have traveled a good bit on the east coast and not found anything else as good. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal. I almost forgot to mention how good the margaritas are. Try it...you won't be disappointed.
